Service Expertise Summary: CCNA and CCNP training with extensive experience in network configurations, troubleshooting, support, and upgrade implementations. Expertise in Layer 1 and 2 fiber optics and virtual LAN circuit operations, with a strong focus on telecom clients.
- Deployment and configuration of Cisco and other routers and switches, including Cisco ASR 920, ASR 901, ME3400, Nokia, and Telco TMC series
- Network upgrades in multi-site environments, including VOIP infrastructure upgrades and multi-site Cisco switch deployments.
- Maintenance and fault isolation for lit and dark fiber optic networks involving layer 1 and 2 fiber optics and virtual LAN circuit operations
- Experience in fiber maintenance including troubleshooting, splicing, and testing, employing industry-standard tools like OTDR machines and light meters
- Experience in redundant network topologies, including duplex and simplex fiber systems with redundant virtual lan troubleshooting and repair
- Experience with network monitoring tools and devices such as Netcool, Sevone, and Accedian for real-time performance analysis
- Managed VOIP phone installations and configurations for both Cisco and Avaya environments.
- Support for Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUMC) and Cisco Jabber for enterprise communication.
- Experienced, ongoing support of large scaled telecommunications systems for major clients (T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T).
- Project management experience, including large-scale router firmware upgrade projects for hundreds of Cisco ASR 920 routers, engaging with multiple vendors, managing logistics for hardware deployments, aligning schedules and deliverables to meet client expectations and timelines, as well as overseeing the dispatch and ongoing direction of field technicians for troubleshooting and repairs in live environments.
